To identify which sensor triggered a false alarm on your Bosch alarm system, you can review the system’s event memory history. This feature allows you to replay recent events, including alarms and system activities. Here’s how to access it:
Accessing Event Memory History:
- Enter Event Memory Mode:
- Input your master PIN code followed by the [8] key and then the [#] or [AWAY] button (e.g.,
1234 + 8 + #
).

- Review Events:
- The keypad will emit three beeps, and the most recent events will display sequentially via the zone indicators, starting from the latest.
- Each event is shown briefly, accompanied by a beep.

Note: This process lets you view the last 40 events, including alarms and arming/disarming actions.

To block the sensor from triggering again, just cover it with Aluminium foil. If it no longer triggers, then you’ve isolated the culprit sensor and can organise a replacement.
